The florist is probably set. We got a quote from the place GW and BD had visited which was half of what we expected. GW will have to review it to see if something is missing. Saving, or rather, not spending, some $1500 is nothing to sneeze at. You've gotta love this country, where you can go broke saving money. The proper answer to "What should I do with the money I saved?" is "Show it to me."

BD came home from her weekend visit - and party - with a bridesmaid and the maid of honor in a much better mood than when she left. The aforementioned bridesmaid was the one who had not yet sent in her measurements. GW wanted to send BD to the party with a measuring tape. We are now assured that the numbers in question have been transmitted to the proper authorities. So now we wait for all the dresses and hope for timely arrivals.

More stuff up for sale on eBay today. Sold off all but one of the Trivial Pursuit card sets and games last week. Now some more early National Lampoons. Slowly but surely, the basement will be emptied of magazines, comics and other dust-collecting items that were once called my collections. The process will likely extend well past the Big Day.
