I got a phone call and didn't see how the game ended for the first obnoxious guy. If I had to guess, the mob got his money. Can anyone fill me in?
Thanks.

While it may seem counterintuitive, under the current rules, it's better to use the "Trust the Mob" lifeline early rather than be stuck with it late in a game. After the halfway point, I wouldn't necessarily want to put my trust in the people they have on the show, and the "Poll the Mob" lifeline works almost the same. Frankly, the only lifeline which has real value is the "Ask the Mob" which serves as a 50/50.
By getting rid of all the lifelines, you essentially get a fourth, highly valuable lifeline, getting to see the question, which is worth much more than the Poll or Trust lifelines late in the game.

I agree, not because the mobsters who are left aren't good players, but because they tend to ask the trickier questions later in the game. The early questions are much less likely to lead to a dursting.silverscreenselect wrote:While it may seem counterintuitive, under the current rules, it's better to use the "Trust the Mob" lifeline early rather than be stuck with it late in a game. And that sneak peak is very useful.
