previous summary notes
Vinnie from Queens? (Someone used to call sports radio WFAN frequently with that moniker) One question (#6) asked what city's team is "Red Sox Nation" and Vinnie teased Mere by revealing himself as a Yankees (and not Mets) fan, insulting Mere's beloved Sox.

I suppose not a good move since Mere put a hex on him. With no LL's left, Vinnie guessed on his next question (#7) and answered it wrong.

This might be a good question for the ATA. OTOH, I'm surprised that search doesn't turn up a previous reference to KenKen here, since we're more interested in puzzles and games than a run-of-the-mill audience.

And KenJen is a J! phenomenon, which is an entirely different thing altogether.

Yes, we did! I couldn't convince the girls to eat there with me last month though.

WFAN (sports radio in NYC) is known for many talk show call from a "Vinnie (or Vinny) from Queens"... obviously not this guy.

Given the borough I expected a Mets fan out of him, but he declares that he knows the answer because the Red Sox are "by far the worst baseball team in the whole of the United States, in all the Major Leagues obviously I'm a Yankee fan so we're going to go with A, Boston, final answer."
So Mere (Red Sox fan from Rhode Island) goes with the "I'm sorry, it's not Boston, but it is Boston. I hate you!"... "How could you, you nasty thing! I hope there is a hundred behind this question. Not really, let see" ... then it is the $100!
Mere says "see?" and makes a face at him pointing out she put a hex on him.
Spoiler

Then the KenKen question came next. So Red Sox Nation wins this one, although far from the baseball diamond, where it gets a little harder for Boston
