I guess the uniqueness was what did the trick.

He jumped over the $25K question yesterday, so he's not going to have a very big bank.

That's because the outcome hasn't been determined yet.

No idea, so I'll ATA because they probably will.

Evidently his luck couldn't go any farther. As for me, the only person I associate with this show (which I've never seen) is Betty White. Time to JTQ.

In case you are wondering:
Spoiler
Hot in Cleveland stars Valerie Bertanelli, Jane Leeves, and Wendie Mallick, as well as Betty White. Obviously, I can not spell Valerie's last name. <g>

In case it ever is asked, Joe Jonas also appeared on the show as Valerie's son, who had the hots for Jane Leeves.

Do things usually move this slowly during guest host weeks? It seems like we haven't had as many questions as usual.
Question 3 - level 7 - Prize Winners
The Orteig Prize, a $25,000 contest held by a New York hotel owner, was eventually won by what famous aviator?
A. Orville Wright B. Charles Lindbergh
C. Chuck Yeager D. Amelia Earhart
I probably would have gone with Lindbergh, with a nagging worry that Orteig was a woman awarding a prize to another female.

Question 7 - Level 10 Name That Symphony
Franz Schubert's Symphony No. 8 in B minor is popularly known as what?
A. Pastoral Symphony B. Unfinished Symphony
C. New World Symphony D. Simple Symphony
I was surprised that this was considered the hardest one in the stack, with the answer being (IMO) the one most people would go for. I was expecting A or D to be right.
Question 9 - Level 9 Brains and Beauty
Known more for her figure than her fashion, in 2010, what supermodel announced she will pen a fantasy novel titled "Modelland"?
A. Tyra Banks B. Kate Moss
C. Gisele Bundchen D. Heidi Klum
Ugh. I'm so bad on celebrity questions. I didn't think it was Kate Moss, but any of the other three were plausible to me.
Question 10 - Level 5 Sitcom Actresses
The 2010 TV series "Hot in Cleveland" stars actresses from all but which of these sitcoms?
A. Will & Grace B. Frasier
C. One Day at a Time D. Just Shoot Me
It's too bad he missed this one. He knew Valerie Bertinelli was on 1DaaT, but didn't know she was on HiC. What messed him up, though, was the answers themselves. He saw Frasier (93-04), Just Shoot Me (97-03) and Will and Grace (98-06) as being from roughly the same era and One Day at a Time (75-84) as the old-timey odd duck. I wonder if he would have gone for it if the out of place answer was The Facts of Life (79-88) or Cheers (82-93), and the gap wasn't as wide.

I'd like to know what kind of job it was. My guess is that the success of this kind of resume padding would be inversely proportional to the professionalism of the position.
