Creeping Crud

#1 Post by TheCalvinator24 » Sat Feb 09, 2008 5:40 pm

I've had sinus/allergy issues all week. Normally, when I start feeling that, I take a day off work to stave off getting more sick. We were short-handed this week, so I couldn't take off until yesterday.

That delay cost me.

Today, I have a 101° temperature.

Wouldn't be that big a deal, but I open as Miles Gloriosus in A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum next Friday.

Doctor up this weekend, Cal.

I hope you're well by curtain time.

If I were in your situation, I would go to the Doc in a Box tonight. Even if your insurance won't cover it, you could get a 36- to 48-hour head start in getting antibiotics to do their magic before Show Time. Otherwise, it will be Monday morning -- at the earliest -- before you can get a prescription. (I'm assuming that with a fever that high, you probably do have something for which antibiotics will be useful. I do not, however, so much as play a doctor on tv.)
