Karen gave some more details about the invention that she mentioned on Friday - it has something to do with wicking away water.

I knew it was spoken on the eastern (Indian Ocean) coast of Africa and only one of the choices was located there.

Wikipedia did have one surprise for me. I wouldn't have guessed the Congo.
Swahili is a national, or official language, of three nations: Tanzania, Kenya, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
