Huckabee Wins West Virginia

#1 Post by silverscreenselect » Tue Feb 05, 2008 1:59 pm

The first Super Tuesday results are in. Unlike other states, the West Virginia Republicans held their own convention. On the first ballot, Romney led Huckabee but a majority was required and enough McCain and Paul supporters switched to Huckabee so that he won.

West Virginia awards delegates on a winner-take-all basis, so Huckabee picks up all 18 delegates.

No one seems to like Mitt very much.

It's because he told all the caucus-goers that nobody could go to the bathroom until they finished.

A convention? In one place, instead of many local caucuses? Held in the middle of the day?

Yeah, that is...different.

Hooray. Do we book the coronation now or later?
I just ordered chicken and an egg from Amazon. I'll let you know.

So who won Virginia where thousands of voters showed up to vote? Oh, that's right---their primary is NEXT week! D'oh

Yep. The fix is in already and the handwriting is on the wall.
