Wow! That took a lot of courage, and I applaud Kimberly for going for it - even if she had been wrong. As for me, I had no idea. But I would have had my two JTQs and would have used one here.

I thought Kimberly would be one and done. I was happy to be wrong.
This one, OTOH, I would have had solid, putting me at the $1M question with one JTQ left.

Hmmm...suppose I decide to JTQ at the $1M question - what happens then?

The rules won't let you do that.
The Contestant will start the game with two "Jump the Question" lifelines, which may be used at any time during game play, but not on the $1,000,000 question.

Here's an article about Kimberly's appearance.

Collins revealed the big question asked to her Monday: "So, are you leaving school?"

She answered: "I'm going to stick with it. ... I'm going to save and invest and take my mother on a lovely vacation."

I was thinking that this was a topic of discussion on the Bored at one point.

You've got a good memory, christie; nitrah mentioned this, a year ago!

- And Einstein also split his Nobel money with his ex-wife as part of their settlement.

Here's another short article about Kimberly's appearance, from Purdue's student newspaper (which contains an annoying number of animated advertisements).

“I am extremely happy with how it turned out. I have no problem with how things went,” Collins said.
Considering that you've got the best result of the season, so far, I'm glad.
