Marty banked $15,000 on a question about LeBron James, and Meredith says some things are just meant to be. Cleveland may have lost LeBron but they have Marty. He quips that he's almost as tall. Marty has all his lifelines available and $20,500 in his bank.

Which of these phrases completes the famous Admiral David Farragut saying "Damn the torpedoes"?

"Wow!" Marty exclaims. He decides to ask the audience.

Question #5 (Children's Songs)
In the popular children's song "On Top of Spaghetti," what causes the singer's meatball to roll off the table?

A - a door slams
B - somebody sneezes
C - a tree falls
D - a dog barks

Meredith reminds Marty that he teaches children for a living so this should be a walk in the park. Marty replies that his students are a little beyond that level. They're doing algebra (although Marty admits he doesn't teach math). Marty starts to recite the song. "On top of spaghetti all covered with cheese, da-da-da-da-da-da da-da-da-da-da." After a moment he concludes the song:
Spoiler
"I lost my poor meatball when somebody sneezed."
Despite this, he still isn't sure. It sounds like

I remembered that Barron and Conrad were Hilton family names, so they could have been given to the sons or they could have only belonged to older members of the family. This was question #8 unrandomized as well as randomized, so I would have been nervous trying to make a logical guess, here.

Annie would have been sincerely disappointed in Marty. Not only did the date eliminate all the other choices, but this Requiem plays a key part in the final scenes of Amadeus. Poor Salieri, his evil plans were frustrated by a locked cabinet.

Interesting comment, Marty. I couldn't remember the dates for Bach or Mozart, so in the old days I'd have asked for the 50/50 lifeline. Since it's not available, I'll use JTQ, so that I can play (not really) "classic" Millionaire.

I bet sprots would be happy to hear that squirrels were being used to find bombs, and probably happier if they were setting them off.

I was crushed when I saw the answer and realized that wasn't ES on the job. I wouldn't even have needed nuclear weaponry...

U guys R being mean! Just because a squirrel is named Evil doesn't mean he really is. Evil Squirrel is a frien of mine, and he gives me toys and treats and stuff, and he's nice. My sis Annie is the one who named him. I think she named him after a daredevil, Mr. Evel Knievel, except Annie wasn't as picky about spelling in those days.

I was just teasing Sprots, Lizbit, because she's so mean to ES.

In fact, I think the Defense Department ought to send some of those trained honeybees, or squirrels or pigeons or whatever they use, to check her backyard for those WMDs she keeps talking about.

Lizbit, you are as adorable as Annie but maybe don't have as much experience. I assure you that neither Marley nor I have any mean bones in our bodies. Your frien Evil Squirrel is a very special case, and although he has maybe jarred loose with a treat or two for you, he has done plenty to earn that name.

Sprots, I thought of you last night when a Central Park squirrel became a victim of a missed shot in a duel on "Castle." Sorry little thing got it with a musket ball.

Squirrels are the architects of forests, the planters of trees, nature's own acrobats and show a zest for life that can inspire us. Every day should be National Squirrel Appreciation Day!

--squirrelmama (10/3/07)

Many of these (squirrel) migrations were probably caused by food shortages as well as habitat overcrowding. We solved that for them. We not only reduced their habitat, we reduced the whole species by about 90%. The least we can do now is share a little birdseed with them.

You're a real doll, Lizzie!!!!

Don't mind Sprots though, she enjoys playing really hard to get!
Stay away from me.

And take off that stupid ribbon, you look ridiculous.

Lizbit doesn't take kindly to the dissing of her boyfriens.....

See if she ever licks your toes.....

There's a plus. I love Lizbit but would not like to have my toes licked.
