$10K-easy since at least one BB brings this book up whenever we discuss what we've been reading.

$12.5K-I thought this was easy if I haven't seen the show. It helps if you know basic U.S. geography-which both the contestant AND the Expert didn't seem to. His dismissal of Washington DC as a "fake answer" didn't make much sense, especially since the question mentioned the word "headquarters" in it-most government agencies are headquartered in or near DC!!

I predict this Expert won't be much help.
I'm just a game show nerd.

If you watch the show as much as my family does we knew this before the answers even came up. It takes place at HQ which is in the "Navy Yard" which is in D.C.

Never heard of this book. ATA. Despite the sucky response by the audience, I would've gone along with zombies.

Obviously, neither Nicole nor John have driven on the Anacostia Freeway.

As I have mentioned here before according to Charlestonians the Ashley and Cooper rivers meet in Charleston Harbor to form the Atlantic Ocean.
Suitguy is not bitter.

feels he represents the many educated and rational onlookers who believe that the hysterical denouncement of lay scepticism is both unwarranted and counter-productive

The problem, then, is that such calls do not address an opposition audience so much as they signal virtue. They talk past those who need convincing. They ignore actual facts and counterargument. And they are irreparably smug.

Not to be stereotypical or anything but Nicol didn't sound like she was from Arkansas. I can say that because one of my good friends from church is from that state and definitely has an accent.

It has been mentioned here! :)

There's actually an entire genre of horror mashups by various author "partnerships" now:
Jane Slayre
Android Karenina
Little Vampire Women
Little Women and Werewolves
Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter
Queen Victoria: Demon Hunter

etc.

At our office Christmas party last year, we exchanged gag gifts and I wound up with a copy of Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. It's fairly amusing, being written in faux Jane Austen style, but it starts to wear thin after a couple of chapters.

No, what we have is a fake expert. This was is easy if you either watch TV or know something about geography.
