She was the token Sarah Palin lookalike in the Green Room.
I had a great time talking to her and am glad she has done well so far.

Huh?

If you said she looked like Sarah Palin, I'm not surprised you got some blank stares.

How soon they forget...Carter was, of course, governor of Georgia. It would have been interesting if they had substituted George W. Bush for one of the three.

I'd have to ATA on this one. I don't think "Fraggle Rock" was shown in this area.

I don't know this one, either, so it's time to ATE. If Campbell Brown can't help, I'll DD, making A & B my choices.

That's what made this question kind of tricky. Even recognizing the answer immediately, I had to pause for a moment of confirmation: W. was a governor, H.W. was not.

It might have been interesting to see the reaction of a younger contestant who didn't remember George the elder, especially after they got that 47% incorrect ATA vote.

A momentary pause before this one clicked. Hopefully not enough to bring TDC into play.

Seemed pretty tough for 12.5K. As it happens Atlanta has a center for puppetry arts that has a close relationship with the Henson Company and the fraggle puppets are on display there. I went to the center twice recently (once to see a movie about ventriloquist called I'm No Dummy") so I happened to remember a couple of these names. Otherwise would have been trouble. Only four of those bizarre teletubbies so that seems wrong but I suppose the other two could be possible, especially given some of the prominent members of The Electric Company cast.

And how could Campbell forget H. R. Pufnstuf??? She ain't no spring chicken as I recall. Did she grow up under a rock?

Hmm, maybe it goes back farther than I thought. It was kinda psychedelic sixties-ish.

I remember there was H.R. and the kid who was the Artful Dodger from Oliver. I don't recall any other characters from that show.

You can't possibly forget Witchiepoo???

She was a classic!

I think I remember mostly because of the World of Sid and Marty Kroft that opened as a theme park inside the atrium of the Omni Hotel in downtown Atlanta in the mid 70's and closed almost as soon as it opened. It had what I think was the longest escalator in the world at the time that led up to the entrance. The park cascaded down various levels in the building (probably the area now occupied by CNN) until you arrived back at the ground floor.
