Well, I can throw two out right away ("Curly Top" and "Wee Willie Winkie" were both made when she was very young). When the question came up, I was thinking it might have been "The Bachelor and the Bobby-Soxer," with the great Cary Grant and the even greater Myrna Loy, which now graces my DVD shelf along with "Mr. Blandings" and several other Cary Grant flicks. When it didn't, I figured I'd use the DD, on B and D. This time, I'd have actually needed the second guess.

Wow, I wish I hadn't needed the DD on the Shirley Temple question. Carlotta and Angelina both rang bells, and I haven't seen this in about 10 years. I'd have used the ATA to buy some time, and I'd like to think I'd have had the guts to go for it with the right answer, because with my Tivo on pause, I finally decided on Angelina, but couldn't say why. Still, I was nearly positive it was either A or B, and I'm pretty sure I'd have taken the shot, with a 50/50 shot at seeing the $500K question.
There is something wrong in a government where they who do the most have the least. There is something wrong when honesty wears a rag, and rascality a robe; when the loving, the tender, eat a crust while the infamous sit at banquets.

Wow, two high-level slam dunks for me!

"A Kiss for Corliss" was the only one of the four ST films I had never heard of, but it didn't matter because I knew that she was not 21 years old when she did the other three.

And I've seen "Romancing the Stone" about a dozen times over the years.

I really wish I could see that $500,000 Clint Eastwood question.

Do they film all the shows in one day? Or did Miranda possibly have a night to research Shirley Temple movies? It seemed odd that she showed almost no excitement about knowing the answer and winning $100K despite having enough confidence to go for it.

Yes, they tape five episodes a day, so all of Movie week was done in the same day, with no more than a few minutes for changing clothes between episodes.
