has stayed at the Bellagio in Las Vegas?
fwh and I will celebrate our 20th anniversary, therefore, I want to do something very special. First time we went to Vegas, we were with his Mom & Dad. We are going for the shows, and very little gambling.
I would be going to the Bellagio in early June. I can get a partial lake view, a lake view, or a Tower deluxe King with a panoramic view.
Is it worth the money to go for the Tower deluxe King. Not a bad $$$$ for early June. $269/night.

Mrs MacRae and I have stayed at the Bellagio but for several reasons we prefer The Venetian where you get a suite and the prices should be comparable. An advantage to the Venetian for non gamblers like us is they have a much better food court for breakfast. No buffet but you can get a decent breakfast for under $10.00. Also, it is close to Fashion Show Mall, Wynn Shops and Caesar's Shops. I would recommend the Cirque de Soleil show Love a Beatles tribute. All the seats are the same pricey 165 each but if you book early you can get in rows D -H where the views are spectacular we were in D at Christmas.

Thanks Macrae...btw, we could be related, my Aunt married a Macrae. She was originally a McTigue.
I will check into the Ventian!

The MacRae is from my maternal grandmother's maiden name and they were from a small town in Ontario Alexandria on the rail line between Ottawa and Montreal

I've stayed at both the Bellagio and Venetian, and I agree with Mac. I liked the Bellagio a LOT, but I liked the Venetian even more.
That said, you can't go wrong with either. I had a regular suite at the Bellagio, and it was very nice, but the Deluxe would probably be worth the extra, if it's not TOO much extra.

Hmmm, the upgraded suite has a panoramic view of the strip & fountains.
Its cheaper than the Venetian (suite) room rate wise.
The upgraded suite is not much more $$$$. I am choosing to go in the beginning of the month, since the prices are more reasonable.
I am trying to save a little, since the entertainment I am choosing is very $$$$$.
