I was afraid the $7.5K question was actually going to be about math-I'd never heard of the expression "back of the envelope" but it was easy to figure out.

And a celebrity question that absolutely NOTHING to do with celebrities-a BAM first (I think!). I knew the answer, having been to Sea World in Orlando many times-they have lots of flamingos there, and they have signs explaining why they are pink.
I'm just a game show nerd.

I did not know that beta-carotene could be found in shrimp. I thought they were found only in fruits and vegetables. But I would've Double Dipped on berries as well as shrimp because they're the only two items up there that are red/pink. Yeah, I know. I should've jumped right on shrimp because they're found in water, just like algae and flamingoes are. But I was focused too much on the beta-carotene.

Another case of me overthinking the question.

So had she tried out for the show before, or was this a dream-inspired audition?

Does this move her into the Where Else? category?

Nihil obstat®. I'll be interested to see if Debra's husband's dream is realized or whether she leaves with either $25K or $50K.

Nah. Even if she did live in the NYC area when she conducted this interview, it was decades ago.

BTW, I'm not usually impressed by contestants' celebrity anecdotes, but I had to laugh at this one! :)
