one of the teachers in my building has a son on the next survivor, Micronesia. Here's the link with his bio:

can't you just see him being called "nude model" throughout the survivor competition?
he's a student teacher at another building this semester. I'm sure he's going to take some heat for this. . .

Only about half of the so called favorites seem to be of any note. I suppose they had to make do with those willing to go another round.
And the "fans" seem to be pretty young and/or athletic. Not to mention a fair number of what seem to be actor wannabe's. I guess it will youth and brawn against veteran experience. And Johnny Fairplay.
With any luck he will be the first one to get the boot...
Survivor Guatemala is now the only episode not to have at least one player who would go on to appear on a later show.

As a recent enthusiast (Cook Islands was my first experience with the show), I'm excited about this concept, even though I only know Jonathan, Ozzy, and Parvati from Cook Islands, Yau Man from Fiji, and Amanda and James from China. I was hoping Michelle from Fiji would be there, not just for ShallowVails's benefit but because she really deserved another shot. ShallowVails certainly won't be left wanting this season, regardless.

Come to think of it I suppose the All Star edition also has not had one of it's players appear on a later show either.

I was also not a fan of Parvati, who relied on her..umm..feminine wiles to stay in the game more than using any particular game skills.
"Feminine wiles" being a nice way to put it.
Amazing how many of those "favorites" I don't remember. Eliza??
