Dead or Alive Final Standings!

#1 Post by mrkelley23 » Tue Jan 01, 2008 9:09 am

Standings thru Game 29

Congratulations to PSM for her come-from-behind victory, as well as to Fanny and Tbone for sniffing out the last theme. Nelly also did an outstanding job, leading most of the days of the month – just be all that Dead Pool research. Thanks to everyone for playing, and I hope to meister another game before long – maybe April?

After I read the answers, I thought I had might have a shot at a dramatic finish and end up winning, thus completing our synergy for the month. But I was pretty sure that PSM had crabbed that. Ha!

I am glad that Nelly finished more than 2 points ahead of me. I think the only day I didn't play was Nobel Prize day. I only knew two of the people and had no clue on the theme, so I was just lazy and looked at other people's answers instead of playing first.

Thanks for doing the game. I'm amazed at the standings, I thought I sucked out loud all month, I guess because I only remembered all the mistakes I made. Ha!

So, does this mean I need to start brushing up on vital stats data for April?

Nobody read this until you've answered the QOD for today!
Spoiler
In my final notes for the QOD (which I haven't done yet), I was going to apologize for not doing a physicist day like I promised. Well, that's been taken care of already. Ha!

Not surprising that we should finish so highly in each other's games, what with all the synergy going on.

April should be a good month (rather than the cruelest one) for me. I"ll be gone for a significant piece of both February and March, and May is always bad for me, what with the end of the school year.

QoD today cracked me up. We're going to start getting accused of being TNBE pretty soon. Pea and Bix's days are numbered, I tell ya! NUMBERED!!!!

Thank you for a really cool game. There were some days, like umpire day, where I didn't have a clue, but I thought that it was cool that the last day's puzzle was something more "chick" oriented.
