Please tell me I'm not the only one who knew of Tim before he was on the show...

I must admit I'm a fan of competitive eating (Joey Chestnut for life!). Interestingly, Tim and Crazy Legs Conti were also on Cash Cab. I would not have come close to where he got (had to DD at least on Temujin and maybe ATA/PAF on 25k, ATE on 50k and likely guess incorrectly if not prompted otherwise). Good game Tim!

$3K: I have never heard of "limey" in reference to a particular country. I thought it was a slang term for a sailor. ATA.

Aha! I knew this guy looked familiar, but I couldn't quite put my finger on where.

$12.5K: No clue on this one. I'll try Ashleigh. She may be hip to current financial events. If she's unsure, I'll have to use PAF, too.
BBTranscriptTeam wrote:$50,000 * Thomas Jefferson

Looks like a Bored maxim comes into play once again: If a potato product shows up as a choice in a top-tier question, pick it!

$250K: I can narrow it down to either sunflower or black-eyed Susan, since they look the most like a daisy. Double Dip.

So I'd be going for $500K, maybe with PAF.

DD on the $100,000- guess Shakespeare, then Christie.

Black-Eyed Susan and Sunflower are the only flowers that even come close to resembling a daisy of those four (and Mountain Laurel is a shrub/small tree- unlikely to grow in railroad beds), and sunflowers grow too big, so by process of elimination, Black-Eyed Susan at $250,000.

So ATA, ATE, and PAF at $500,000.

OK, it sounds Scandinavian but she goes with Genghis Khan? Talk about getting the right answer for the wrong reason...

That would have been my surmise as well, and I might well have gone with that answer and left with $25K.
