As a general rule I dislike the Colts, and I really, really dislike Peyton Manning. Except for his commercials, which I generally always like.
I got to thinking about the Hagler commercial I referenced in today's QOD and looked to see if I could find it online. I couldn't find it anywhere, but I did stumble across this Manning one that I never saw before.
I'm not sure when this was made or why or for what purpose, but it's great. It's Manning's talent for faux sincerity that puts it over the top.

Fannie, that was from a SNL skit that Peyton did. Hilarious. He said the worst part was the stage mothers/fathers yelling at the director to use their kid to get cussed out or hit in the head. When Peyton expressed concern about using the "F Word" around the kids, one of the children looked at him and said, "Are you serious? We're New York actors."
"When you argue with a fool, there are two fools in the argument."

Sorry! I, of course, meant to say "I really, really dislike Cupcake Manning". Won't happen again.cindy.wellman wrote:fantine33 wrote:As a general rule I dislike the Colts, and I really, really dislike Peyton Manning.![]()
Thanks, guys, for the SNL explanation. That explains why I've never seen it. I'm never home on Saturday night and I haven't watched SNL since back in the day, anyway.
