top o' the mornin'®

"I know I'm behind my time, sir, but it's Christmas. I was making rather merry yesterday."

Truth to tell I'm going through the same symptoms I had after Thanksgiving - head congestion, cough, nausea, etc. Maybe I'm allergic to holidays, or maybe it's the rapid changes in weather over the weekend, or something else, but whatever it is I feel terrible.

Christmas was a mixed bag of emotions, for reasons I'll not go into now.

I know exactly what you're going through. I had the flu throughout most of the Christmas weekend. I finally felt better yesterday in time for me to go to Lexington to spend some time with my kids.

Emma has been sick with the same sort of thing. She felt better after we got some clothes on her and got her out of the house. I also washed everything on her bed: pads, pillows, sheets, blanket and comforter to get rid of the germs and residual cough and nose slime.

I hope that you feel better.
