Donald Leake
Pennington, NJ
Professor, Bartender and Spoken Word Artist

Regis and Donald do a do-si-do before settling down in the chairs, and Regis mentions that everyone wants to dance now. Donald is a professor at Drexel University, a bartender ("I have a knack for getting people intoxicated") and a spoken word artist. Regis asks what that last one is.

Donald: I guess the common term for it is "slam poet". So I've toured around the country, doing poetry, performing before lots of different people, different venues, I even opened for a rock band doing poetry.
Regis: Poetry is almost forgotten, but I'm glad you're bringing it back. Can you give us a couple of lines of what you've written?
Donald: Yeah, a really short poem I wrote years ago, it's called "Common Sense." It's like 15 seconds. "If I was on 'Jerry Springer" / And they had me backstage / I wouldn't come out. / Common sense, man!"
Regis: And can I add my line to it? "Neither would I!"

The Britney Spears question was not worth $8,000.

Oh. :D

In any event, the ATA would have been a much better choice for the contestant too on that question . . .

Not even on the higher levels have the questions been tricks.

They've all been pretty straight-up (save for that nasty crossword puzzle question- but even that was straight-up- if you do crosswords).
