Regis mispronounced "bweaks" both times. He pronounced it as if he were saying "bleaks". And good for Brian for locking in an answer before the host even reads off the choices. That's one way to speed up the show.

$25K: I don't use Twitter, so I'm in a bit of trouble here. I know who three of these eight people are. Nate Silver is a political blogger. Steven Chu is the Secretary of Energy. Paul Krugman is a columnist and Nobel-winning economist. I have no clue if any of them use Twitter. I'll ask the audience.

Wow, I am so proud of myself right now. I hate hockey... but that didn't stop me from blurting out Ovechkin before the choices came up.

Pretty easy question if you know how old Rosa Parks was when she passed away a couple of years ago. I was pretty sure that she was in her 90s, so that put her birth year in the 1910s and made age 42 the most reasonable choice.

I would be going for $250,000 with three lifelines.

ATA at $16 K with a Google PAF follow-up if they don't know.

Sitting at the $250K question with (hopefully) 3 LLs left.

On the twitter question, I didn't remember Evan Williams, but I knew Biz Stone was a twitter guy. I remember reading a story either in a magazine or newspaper about Twitter before it became big.

I was waiting for Regis to read the choices, pronouncing the correct one "Womeo." Instead, he just repeated the quotation while the clock was running, which saved some time.

He got more front page press at his local paper:
Ivy Slope, Brian Slope’s 8-year-old daughter, said after her father’s appearance Tuesday on “Who Wants to be a Millionaire” that she is proud of her dad, even though he stopped short of the seven-digit-prize.
