Re: Transcript 12/17/07 Joyce Bogart
So does Greg live in NYC or did he take her there from Arizona? I don't think she should be considered a "reluctant auditioner".BBTranscriptTeam wrote:Joyce Bogart

Too bad she didn't go with her instinct.BBTranscriptTeam wrote:$4K To check a patient’s knee-jerk reflex, doctors actually tap what tendon just below the knee?

For some reason "Connecticut" came to my mind, but since that wasn't the question, I could have picked the right answer from the four given.BBTranscriptTeam wrote:$8K The 2003 movie “Mystic River” is named after river that flows through what major U.S. city?

It's not B, C or D, so it has to be A. Meredith was nice to explain that a gimlet is a device using for making holes in wood.BBTranscriptTeam wrote:$16K Like “screwdriver,” which of these words refers to both a type of tool and a type of cocktail?

I'm surprised - I've seen that commercial dozens of times. It helps, of course, to work for the Army - a lot of e-mails come from up the chain and are ended with "Army Strong!"BBTranscriptTeam wrote:$25K In 2006, the U.S. Army replaced its former recruiting slogan “An Army of One” with what new phrase?

I think they both took the trip to NYC from Arizona. Also, if they were there in May, there weren't any tapings going on, so they must have attended one of the "Summer" auditions without seeing the show.earendel wrote:So does Greg live in NYC or did he take her there from Arizona? Since she didn't mention anything about being urged to try out by her son, I'll also give her a pass on the "reluctant auditioner" label. That was just one more tourist activity to try while they were in town.

Mystic Seaport is in Connecticut. It was the setting for another movie, Mystic Pizza.earendel wrote:For some reason "Connecticut" came to my mind, but since that wasn't the question, I could have picked the right answer from the four given.
I knew Mystic River was set in New England, so I would have got this question right.

Here's a brief news blurb about Joyce's appearance, from The Arizona Republic:
http://www.azcentral.com/community/swva ... e1221.html
And this one, with an AP dateline, cites the first one as its source of information, but manages to introduce a mistake into its rewrite, calling WWTBAM NBC's show.
