License Plate of the Day

#1 Post by Rexer25 » Wed Dec 19, 2007 7:15 am

I had to stop by a grocery store on my way to work to get something for people to graze on, and I pulled into a parking space across from a silver Mercedes. I don't know much about Mercedes, so I can't tell you which model, but it was a good sized 4 door. The hood ornament seemed to be as big as my hubcaps. But what really caught my attention was the Texas personalized license plate:

I H8 ME2
Enough already. It's my fault! Get over it!

That'll be $10, please.

Well, that's sad.

He could buy a lot of psychiatric help for the price of a Mercedes! :P

My favorite is the NH designer plate with the picture of a moose on the left hand side. The plate I saw as he passed me read, to the right of the moose, "&SQRL".
I just ordered chicken and an egg from Amazon. I'll let you know.

There is a commercial for some fast food sandwich. This kinda frumpy average looking woman is stiing on a park bench eating it. This model type is looking at her and wishing she had such sandwich to get such pleasure from. The model looks at the average female and says "I hate you."

The average female says "Wow, thank you." or something like that.

I didn't know any states allowed ampersands on their license plates.

Looks like New Hampshire allows the ampersand, dash, and plus sign on vanity plates.

From http://www.hampsteadnh.us/files/Motor_V ... _-_FAQ.pdf
How can I get vanity or initial plates?
Vanity or initial plates are available for all registrations. For motor vehicles, you can use a
maximum of 7 characters. You can use any combination of letters, numbers (no more than 2 in a
row), and the following symbols: + - & (plus sign, dash, ampersand). Moose, antiques, and
trailers are a maximum of 6 characters, and motorcycles are a maximum of 5 characters. To see
what plates are available you can go to the state web site at www.nh.gov/safety/dmv and link to
initial plate search. Vanity plates are an additional $25.00 per year to your state fees.
No matter where you go, there you are.

I know what Lily can call her search engine...andrewjackson.

He always comes up with the answers.

Don't know about that presidential tie-in thing, though.

As long as your family name isn't Udink!

http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/l ... tes23.html

Or baseball players Fukudome & Fukumori. Or even Dr. Fukui!

There's actually a doc on staff with a worse name -- I've never met nor spoken to him, only seen the name on consults once in a while. I wouldn't even begin to know how to pronounce it. It's "Niggemyer."

No vanity plates for you, doc!
