Sting crashed a plane into a field near the Thousand Islands.

No one was hurt.

He kept his license.

I was in first grade. I may have crashed a model airplane back then.

Engine malfunction.

He was able to put it down in the field and only flipped over once. They say that is pretty good for such a young pilot.

I was 9. So I was in 4th grade, I think.

Probably very likely to be crashing things...

I have to ask. Why? Wasn't an ordinary landing good enough for him? :P --Bob

34 years ago I was working for Allstate Insurance on the last computer without virtual memory I ever used. I was also assistant director at the Peninsula Crisis Intervention Center and probably put in more hours there.

34 years ago I was sweet sixteen and probably doing something I shouldn't have been doing.

Actually, I was sweet sixteen and had never been kissed--shy, shrinking violet that I am.
