When fwh and I got home last evening, our power had been restored to our home. I am so grateful and relieved.
It really brings everything into perspective, and what is important in life.
Although, our home in the KC area has had many issues, its the first place that I've lived with fwh, that I truly feel is my home!

I am glad that you got your power back. I was worried that it would take longer.

Good news, fuzzy!
My thoughts are still going out to those who may not get their power back for days.

Me too Marley...good vibes and prayers to all those who are waiting for their power to be restored in their homes.

I've weathered a few ice storms, even here in Alabama. I'm glad you're home, safe and warm.

Thank you. That's the tree in my living room. The kids made me get a 9 foot tree since we have 10 ft ceilings in my new house. I dint decorate it, they did.

Yay, Fuzzywuzzy, glad to hear it! Being without does put things into perspective, whether one wants perspective or not!

So glad you are getting back to normal.
Perspective is great to have, as is heat and electricity.
