T-girl reminded me of some early drama that I had forgotten about.

When Sting was with his mom, he told her about us becoming Snow Birds. She did express bewilderment and annoyance that we were looking 'up there' and not 'down here'. Sting said she sulked for a few days. She kept on saying "I don't understand why you don't look down here." She never said "How come you picked her parents over your mom." She did say "There are 2 of them and only one of me."

Sting kept on telling her that my dad was going to need more and more hands on stuff from me as my mom's illness progressed. He kept telling her that the day to day things would get more and more difficult. He says two things got her on board:

I will be coming to visit you 2 days a week, ever week.

Peaby's siblings will be using our house to stay in when they come to support the parents while we are in NY.

It took her a few days and she became okay with it.

She did throw some barbs at me later on, and I handled them just fine.
