Already? I got home late! It was a quick Mom's Weekend Away. My plane was delayed and I was afraid I'd have to stay another night because I wasn't sure if they'd let us take off if our landing would be at 3 am, and that would have caused Steve to miss a day of work. I've already promised to watch Demon Child after school since her mom has too much going on to take Erin, so that was not an option.

As it was, I got to my house at 3 am and to bed at 3:30 and still had to deal with the kids' morning stuff, then crawled back in until Erin got up. So I'm on about 4 hours of sleep...

Well, the night before I had a bit of a headache from walking around in the heat, so I popped an Advil and thought I'd nap for an hour or two, and woke up 7 1/2 hours later, at 1:30 am! So I just rolled over and stayed in bed until 6:30.


My 12-hour night's sleep! Woo Hoo!! Of course that killed any Saturday night activity, but I didn't cook or wash a dish or do anything I didn't want to do, so it was relaxing by my standards! :P
