So I decided to settle in to watch my first ever full women's basketball game. And what better game to choose than that featuring the Oklahoma Ms. Shaqs, Courtney and Ashley Paris.
Those two are big and bad...and big. As fun as it is to watch them mash around the Piitt players I was even more stunned to see their dad in the audience; none other than Bubba Paris! How did I not make the connection??? Of course those two are the duaghters of Bubba! It seems so obvious now.
And as I'm reeling from that stunning revelation Ashley Paris kicks the ball out to a girl named.....Roethlisberger?!
WHAT?!!!
And of course she's none other than Ben Roethlisberger's little sister. Duuuuude.
What's next? Is the small forward's dad Leon Lett? Is the point guard Jackie Joyner Kersee's love child?
Regardless, whether or not I'm able to watch any more of their games, I am now officially a Sooner Women's basketball fan. With all this plus Courtney Paris committing to pay back her scholarship if they don't win it all, how can I not be? That girl's got cojones.
