I now own this bad boy.
Wow!

I don't claim to be an expert on cattle, but I grew up in cattle country, and I've been to a few state fairs in various parts of the country. Wow!

What are you going to call him, besides "Sir"?

Well, since the Spocklette gets to pick-I'm thinking Fluffy or Snowball.

I brought the boys there after school and he was looking a little more flighty than I would prefer.

The Spocklette is going with to get him tomorrow and she is a little nervous about it-she said big brother can go with to help.

BTw-she turned 8 now-that long since Chi-town in '01

BTW-He was $2,000.

#1 cost $36,000 for a partial interest and #18 went for $10,000.

I know this family has sold $80,000 bulls in the past.

However, the top-selling bulls at these premier sales are kind of decieving because, for example, the next week the seller of one bull may turn around and buy a high-priced bull at the sale of the buyer who bought the high-priced bull at his sale.

Okay, I know less than nothing about cattle and I will second the WOW!

Do you have a fence that will keep that Big Boy in?

I think a little barbed wire would have no chance!

Do you have many other um, livestock? If that is the right question to ask. Any cows who just had a heart attack when he show up at the ranch?

A friend of a friends's bull was not pulling his weight-so to speak. The vet came and gave him some pills. The bull began to service all the cows and the neighbor's cows. I asked what was in the pills. The farmer said, "I don't know. But, they taste like peppermint."
