Just wonderful!

Those of us who volunteer to PAF must commit to being available for several hours, with the knowledge that the odds are less than one in three (formerly one in five) that we'll be called upon at all. Ryan and Trista are selected by TPTB as experts, despite having no particular expertise in anything, save for some wedding-related reality show experience. As experts, they are guaranteed to have some air time chatting with Meredith, along with having several opportunities to help contestants.

But despite that, they can't both commit to the taping schedule.

(And, yes, what Ryan was doing as a firefighter was more socially valuable than what he might have done today as an expert. So don't commit to the expert duty while on shift for the fire department!)

$16K: I don't watch this show, so I'll have to rely on the audience.

Possible WWOQ®. Try the PAF and hope this is Googleable.

I tried to register but evidently you have to have some sort of bridal connection.

Exactly - these "experts" are no experts. As for me, I was torn between B and C, but since I still have ATA, I'll use it here.

Uh, oh, looks like Tom and Amber are one more and done.

They did the right thing in not going for it.

Everyone still making their daily entries in the Capital One WWTBAM Giveaway? Even though they're still not showing us any of the monthly winners yet, just some contestant clips?

Well, maybe. The rules don't limit eligibility that way, just over 18 years old and US resident (maybe Canada, too; I didn't notice). I used BD's wedding date from 2008 and the system accepted it. Just pick a date when you attended a wedding in the past and enter yourself as a wedding guest.
I just ordered chicken and an egg from Amazon. I'll let you know.

They ask for your role in the wedding, the wedding date and the location. I tried leaving them blank but I couldn't proceed.

I didn't realize that was still going on. What's the link again?

Well that was remarkably bad now wasn't it? Even the cock-a-roach disliked that one.

Once again given the stellar game play of this couple during this silly week that ranks only nanometers above Celebrity BAM as a show that would be of interest I am particularly pleased to be decidedly un-PC and read that they fail to make it to 25K. As it is they end up with about 16 times more than seems appropriate.

ATA on "Ugly Betty." I don't watch it.

$50K-I know that red is a popular color for wedding dresses in China-my brother has a friend who married someone with Chinese ancestry. At the ceremony, she wore a traditional white wedding dress-at the reception she changed into a red dress, to reflect her heritage.
I'm just a game show nerd.

Here's an article about Tom and Amber's appearance:

http://www.wickedlocal.com/lexington/ne ... -game-show
On Monday and Tuesday this week, the 1997 Lexington High School graduate appeared on “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?” with his fiancé, Amber Cox. They were guests on a special wedding edition, and after walking away from the $25,000 question (“Thought to bring good luck, brides in India traditionally wear what color on their wedding day?”*) and receiving a free Monique Lhuillier dress, Colatosti figures they won about $30,000 all told in cash and prizes.
Double what they would have normally won, without the special gift!
