I've been following these stories all week. One dealer's site (nowhere near where I live) expects the first truckload delivery on March 25. My local dealer sends me regular e-mails, but no hints on when the cars will be on the lot. The local guy will let me fill out a request for e-mail notification, but I don't want to appear too eager, even if I am. I don't need to have the first Camaro in town, or even one of the first 100. I just want one sooner or later, assuming GM stays alive.

According to a poster on my Diesel truck bored, he saw a truckload of new Camaro's at a truck stop about 30 minutes north of Detroit yesterday. No pics though.

If GM had any smarts at all, they would look at your screen name and connect it with your on-line pics of the original silvercamaro. Then they would give you a new one for free, reap gobs of publicity resulting in sales that would break all records - thus saving GM from bankruptcy.

But that would only be if GM had any smarts at all (and read these boreds)

Good plan, but they'd have to read this particular board. There's another silvercamaro out there -- some guy who posts on muscle car boards. He'd probably end up getting my free car.
