Poll: The stock market
Being that I'm the ripe old age of 21 and 360 days, I know the rally we've had the last three days probably won't last. Which begs the question? How long will the consecutive up days last. I'm creating a poll. The winner(s) get bragging rights.

Re: Poll: The stock market
the Omitted option
Until I decide to invest in stocks.
Until I decide to invest in stocks.
Suitguy is not bitter.
feels he represents the many educated and rational onlookers who believe that the hysterical denouncement of lay scepticism is both unwarranted and counter-productive
The problem, then, is that such calls do not address an opposition audience so much as they signal virtue. They talk past those who need convincing. They ignore actual facts and counterargument. And they are irreparably smug.

Re: Poll: The stock market
By long-standing Bored tradition, every Bored Poll must include the choice WGAS (Who Gives A S***).
While I wouldn't vote for that joke answer (which also serves as a generic "no opinion" response) I would like to vote for the choice "I don't know."

POLL EDITED:
How does "I don't care" work for you? And uh, wow, I was 2 years behind, lol.

I'm going to sound like a frat brother hazing a pledge, but if you want to learn the Bored's peculiar ways, we've got to be strict here.bondguy007 wrote:POLL EDITED:

You really do need to include the acronym "WGAS" in one of the responses! You've got creative license to phrase that however you like, but the acronym is mandatory! For instance, that choice could say, "I haven't followed the stock market since WGAS in Gastonia* stopped broadcasting Wall Street Week."
*After we'd been using that acronym for a while, someone discovered that was the real call sign for a radio station in Gastonia, NC. Snaxx even got a picture of the tower, when he was on vacation!
"I don't invest in stocks / Could care less / Other" doesn't fit at all for me, because I do care, a lot! I've been following the stock market since watching my fourth grade home room teacher read the stock quotes before class started every day! That was...well, quite a while ago!
So, I just took a guess at one of the other options, but that doesn't seem adequate, either. Now, if you're asking what you should do with your own investment money, if you have any, that's another subject, which deserves a serious response.

Re: Poll: The stock market
Not really. The point is to use the acronym, not to expand it. Something like: "WGAS. It's not as though I ever planned to retire." --Bobbondguy007 wrote:Everyone happy now? lol

From some of the money guys I've listened to, what you are witnessing is what they call a Bear Rally. Don't get your hopes up too high or tread with caution.
