Dumb criminals - ewww

I haven't seen this in the news yet, but if true would be a good candidate for dumb criminals. Seems the mini-storage facility across the street was burglarized a couple nights ago. The facility was "protected" by fake security cameras. OK, dumb operators too. Anyway, the team apparently had plenty of time, and totally cleaned out several units. It also seems that one of the team members, uh, defecated in one of the units. So police say they have DNA to work with.

Exactly the sort of exciting work that people go into forensic science for! Separating the criminal's DNA from...uhh, the rest of the sample.
