Roxana Saberi the free lance journalist arrested in Iran is the former Miss North Dakota from 1997. She was one of the 10 finalists in the Miss America pageant that year.
Margaret came home from her chiropractor appointment and said her chiropractor was all shook up over this as she was the runner-up to Roxana that year. Small world.

The active (I think) Miss North Dakota shot me the bird in 1985. Hey, maybe a hook I could use for a BAM audition.
I was a Senior in high school and visiting a friend at college. We went to a movie and he pointed out this girl from class-I remember standing there and looking at her and she shot us the Bird.
