Amazingly enough, nobody got arrested this year. Kay and Hermillion were perfect, well-behaved ladies at the Gridiron show. That may be because our assigned OKC police person was Officer Karen (her first name), who is one of the nicer people on the planet, or because Kay and Hermie decided that, without good-looking Captain Patrick (his first name), there was no point in being frisked. I do not judge; I merely observe.

It also probably helped that we "made friends" with Officer Karen last year. . . something about a handbag being gifted?

I'll never crack!!

I leave for the airport in less than an hour with one layover in Houston. Weather reports all seem good, so maybe I will have an event free trip home and you won't have to listen to me whine when I get back.

Like there is anything wrong with a good whine?

Not if you have a good cheese to go along with it.
