Well, not very likely, but it was big news here when the native Omaha Ricketts family were announced as the winning bidder for the Chicago Cubs franchise.
With rumors that Omaha might lose the Royals' AAA franchise because of stadium issues, there is some talk of trying to get the Iowa Cubs to leave Des Moines and come to Omaha to play in the new, potentially-named, Ameritrade Stadium. (Before you ask, the Omaha Royals owners do not want to play in the larger new stadium, primarily being built for the College World Series, but rather want a smaller capacity stadium.)
