needs a new optician.
If I fit him with those glasses, I would be mortified.

There will be no dissing of the Son of the Chief or his choice of eyewear.
That borders on sacrilege.
There will be hagiographic prose on Rooney or nothing at all.
That is all.

Eyeglasses should fit well, no matter who you are, what you own or what job you have.

Oh boy, I sure hope Pea never sees me wear mine. It is not like I wear them in public or anything. I got them several months ago and I rarely use them. It was about the weakest prescription available I think.
If you need a visual just think of the "Verizon" guy.

I wasn't commenting on Rooney's style choice - that was fine. They did not fit him. The temples were too short and the frame too large.

Re: Dan Rooney
Rich folk, especially those who aren't "public personalities" or at least don't see themselves that way, seem to have a habit of being rather, umm, frugal about certain things. Rooney could well fit in this category. Depending on his age it may well also be a generational thing. I believe his age fits in squarely in that particular generation.peacock2121 wrote:I wasn't commenting on Rooney's style choice - that was fine. They did not fit him. Letterman used to do a bit about old men and big glasses. Maybe they think it really does look good...
