Getting Old
I first noticed pro ballplayers, musicians and Playboy centerfolds that were younger than I am. This is the first time the POTUS will be.
Sheesh.

Re: Getting Old
Last night, Sting and I were talking about it all and this phrase kept creeping into our conversation when talking about Dr King and Mr Obama:
"And that was in our life time"
We are old. I am not sad about that. We have lived history. That is pretty cool.

When we called our current pastor it was the first time that I had been in a church where the pastor was younger than I. Now the POTUS is as well. <*sigh*>Estonut wrote:I first noticed pro ballplayers, musicians and Playboy centerfolds that were younger than I am. This is the first time the POTUS will be.

It didn't take long for the first ballplayer younger than me to make it to teh Majors since A-Rod is 2 weeks younger than me and made his debut at the tender age of 18..... and it did make me feel old at the time....
At least I can take comfort in the fact that I'm not yet eligible to run for POTUS.....

I don't feel old yet, but I DID feel old when I realized that my oldest nephew and niece are 4 and 3 years older than Ben Roethlisberger....and that I'm 5 years older than Mike Tomlin.

I got a twinge on Sunday when they said something about Kurt Warner being Father Time and I realized that he was born in the 70's! Maybe I shouldn't call him "Pops" (except that it goes so well with Warner....ha!)
We, the HK Brigade, do hereby salute you, Marley, for your steadfast devotion to ontopicosity. Well done, sir!

I used to get depessed when the Cosmo cover girls started being younger than me. It was always a great month when Cindy Crawford was on the cover becuase she is older than me.
