iTunes movie question

#1 Post by gsabc » Wed Jan 07, 2009 7:43 pm

I've been setting up GW's new iPod Touch and browsing the iTunes store. If you buy one of the movies, does that allow you to burn a DVD of it as well? And what is the quality? I haven't looked to see if they have Blu-Ray versions.
I just ordered chicken and an egg from Amazon. I'll let you know.

Last TV season, I missed a couple of episodes of shows that I normally record. I purchased them from iTunes and then found that I couldn't burn them to DVD. To my knowledge, music -> CD = Yes, but movie -> DVD = No.

Perhaps someone else has tried more recently.

Actually Apple yesterday announced a change in the securities of their Itunes products that may allow movies to be put to DVD, I haven't gotten a chance to look at the transcript yet...
