Appointment at Arrowhead!!!!!

#1 Post by rayxtwo » Fri Nov 23, 2007 6:54 pm

With LSU's loss today, the biggest game in the famous "Border War" series between the Missouri Tigers and the Kansas J-Birds should crown the new Number 1 team in the country. They better have room for triple digits on the scoreboard.

This game is so HUGE, I've even taken down my Cardinal avatar for this big game. I'll have to leave it up as long as they keep winning. I think my father would understand.

I will try to understand. You didn't want this big bird outsizing your little Cardinal, right? :D

We Big Ten fans were cheering against LSU today, too.

Just to stay neutral, I have to say good luck to both teams tomorrow. This game will have absolutely no effect on which bowl IU goes to, so I truly don't have a dawg in this hunt.

But I'll definitely watch.

How about a friendly little wager. The loser of tomorrow's game will have to keep the winners avatar in their messages till the winners football season is over.

Deal Or No Deal??? (sorry about that Howie)

Sorry Ray, after going and reading the other thread, you sure had a lot of "ifs and whens" in your big plans for Mizzou, I decided that maybe this might turn into something more than a "friendly" wager and since I really don't want any hard feelings between us, may I just say may the best team win and congratulations in advance if it happens to be MU. However, may I add, Rock Chalk Jayhawk, KU

I was just defending the fact that Missouir should win the title should they win out. Silvercamaro said that if KU goes down, no team should be able to claim the Championship. Should KU win, I hope they go all the way. It's better than seeing the so-called "big boys" getting in there all the time.

This is the best writeup I've read on this rivalry:

Gives you a sense of how hot it is.

Bleh, a sister and brother of mine sat through that UT-A&M abomination today. Bleh.

I just saw this post.

Umm, doesn't there have to be something there previously in order to restore it?

Oh, as an outsider to it all, it is 54-53-2.

Of course, I love that t-shirt.

I even posted about it.

I went to college in the Lawrence-area, where I became very stepped in the lore of these battles.
