I was think that since the linkin the reference thread didn't work for me, for whatever reason, but the longer one LB posted did, maybe the reference thread should be up-dated.
Just in case someone else has the same problem.
I think so too.
I haven't been able to go to chat, but using this link, I was able to get in. Of course nobody was there, but at least I got in.

The addresses
http://oldbored.wwtbambored.com and
http://oldbored.wwtbambored.com/index.php are correct, and should work fine. Why it is not working for a few of you, I do not know. I suspect you ladies have corrupted your computers in some way. (I choose to blame that infernal HK theme.)
See if it works from this link:
http://oldbored.wwtbambored.com/chat.php
That should bypass the front page of the old Bored and take you directly to the login screen. After you log in, you shoud go right into Chat.
Having all of that "?sid=053b10755c5c30e87db641b02cab60f7" junk attached to the end should NOT be necessary, and if it absolutely doesn't work any other way, I'd like to find out why.

Dave, that link worked like a charm.
I have bookmarked it.
Thanks ever so much.
