It’s a good thing they only post the lyrics in Lyrically Speaking, cuz if you actually HEARD “All Summer Long” you’d swear it was another song. Or two.
That’s because I’m not talented enough to write a real song, dude. So I decided to blatantly rip off “Werevolves of London” and “Sweet Home Alabama” and call it a “mash up” or “sampling”. How fuckin’ easy it that? Sweet! I should’ve thought of it years ago.
So when yer playin’ Winter Lyrically Speaking starting in January, keep an eye out for lyrics to “All Summer Long”. When you see them, make sure and observe a moment of silence for Warren Zevon and Ronnie Van Zant.
All the better to hear them rolling over in their graves! Ha!
