Whoo-hoo!

#1 Post by Ritterskoop » Sat Dec 06, 2008 3:27 pm

I made arrangements to give away my old bed to a homeless person who is getting a house (long story but a sweet one). The landlord is coming to get it today.

I had no idea when the new one I ordered would arrive, as they said 2-3 weeks. I slept on the futon last night, which is OK but not ideal.

Just now the W Store people called, and they are coming Tuesday! I only have a few more nights on the futon, and the homeless lady gets a bed with her house. And the sheets - my new bed is a different size so I am giving her 4 sets of sheets also.

What a great thing to do Skoop. Not surprising from you, but great!

I was going to offer up some applause. But I knew that you wouldn't want it.

Too bad.

My friend Patty ordered a Weston bed (thanks to you)...she already has it and
loves it! She gave her old bed to the shelter home here for kids that need a temporary place
to stay during time of crisis.

Well done, Skoop. Glad everything worked out so well.
