#1 Post by moonie » Sat Nov 22, 2008 1:48 pm

It is windy and friggin' cold.

And I'll be spending 2 hours tonight coaching a soccer game (that I booked!--last Saturday, it was 68 degrees)

Can someone make some soup?!

My Underoos are frozen.

They are Underoos featuring that little cartoon penguin from the Walter Lantz cartoons.

In other words, there's a Chilly Willy in more ways than one there.

We WON 3-2!!!

The girls played their hearts out. We were down 1-0 after a breakaway goal by them. (bad grammar, there, sorry). We scored twice in the matter of 3 minutes just before the half (one on a direct kick). Nearly missed about 3 others.

Got a third goal in the second half, then hung on as they scored with about 6 minutes to go. Our goalie had to come out after that goal because she 'couldn't feel her feet'.

It took me about 45 minutes to feel my feet again, too. My thumbs were frozen

But onto tomorrow morning, where we go for 10-0!!!

Child abuse! I'm calling Jim Cantore to go out and do an investigative feature on you guys!
Knowing a great deal is not the same as being smart; intelligence is not information alone but also judgment, the manner in which information is collected and used.
