As much of a temptation as it is to do so.

Dow off another ~445 today- the temporary 8,000 floor has been breached big time.
I said something similar to what I'm about to say in a previous gas thread when somebody said they'd rather pay $10/gallon (or whatever) and have the stock market higher.

A lot of people (myself included) don't have enough money to have stocks, therefore we don't have enough money to be personally affected by the stock market. Yeah, I know, cause and effect, everybody is impacted in some way. But what I mean is that, for many people, those number are just abstract.

For those like me, saving a dime or so on gas is one of the ways we can feel like we're bagging a little money back and even a dollar or two makes somebody feel good when that's all they have. Don't trample on our sad little joys!
We, the HK Brigade, do hereby salute you, Marley, for your steadfast devotion to ontopicosity. Well done, sir!
