NBC has cancelled struggling newcomer My Own Worst Enemy, which featured Christian Slater as a guy with two personalities, which is about the same number of people that ever watched the show. Also cancelled was second-year Sex in the City ripoff, Lipstick Jungle. Both series will burn off their remaining episodes until mid-December since NBC has nothing ready to replace them right now. Friday Night Lights is expected to return in January on Fridays in a slot freed up by Jungle's cancellation.
Fox has also cancelled sketch comedy Mad TV which has aired late on Saturday nights to generally low ratings since 1995. The show will finish its season run in May. It's doubtful Fox will replace it with anything so Saturday Night Live will have no competition for Saturday late night any more.

You would almost have to add the rating together for My Own Worst Enemy and Lipstick Jungle on Monday and Wednesday nights to equal Las Vegas Friday Night Ratings.
