Last night I saw a concert featuring my famous namesake John Corbett (of Sex and the City and Northern Exposure) who formed a band and put out a country album last year. It was fun, and he and the band definitely rocked. They handled the last-minute absence of their bassist (illness) quite well. Great venue too, a tiny theater on eastern Long Island with "stadium seating." He definitely draws the ladies, in fact the only reason I heard of it was the mid-day DJ at my local station mentioning the show on the air and that it was too bad she couldn't go.
See my new avatar, I apparently got my father's 'short' genes instead of his 'tall' ones.

What fun! I love the pic, and think "the other" John Corbett looks tickled, too.
