On the road again

This is my last post before powering off my system and packing it up.

In the morning I'm heading back to New York. We couldn't get around my boss's boss's boss's objection to my working out here.

On the road just in time for the holidays. I hope you have a safe trip and your daughter is doing better and will be taken care of when you're gone.

Not well, I'm afraid. She's stable - just like the Titanic. She still sleeps twenty hours a day, a bit less if she takes some non-speed pills that are supposed to keep her awake.

Monday she had a PET scan - at long last - and was supposed to get the results this morning when she went to her neurologist. She was supposed to get a new test too. I think the scan showed something.

She didn't go. I finally got her on the phone about 5 PM her time and she sounded like death warmed over. I think she has a bad cold or the flu. She said she'd call me back when she woke up but of course she didn't. I'll get the story tomorrow.

I'll keep you all updated.
