Daughter1111 Up-date
Bell's Palsy has faded to her nice normal smile. Lyme disease test came back clean. Not even a maybe, a clear no.
I am very impressed by her attitude through it all. I am sure there are some 16 yo girls who would have hid in their rooms, not wanting to come out until their face looked normal. She went through all of it with a quirky smile. Even going to her ring dance. Great job Sweetie!
And thank you to all of you who sent good wishes and happy thoughts our way.
Now, off to Baltimore this weekend for the USSBA National Marching Band finals. Go Bunnell Bulldogs!

I agree - if the picture is any indication, her "quirky smile" was very attractive.gsabc wrote:Good news! But I'll bet that "quirky smile" unintentionally made the hearts of a few teenage boys speed up a bit. All the best to you both!

My neighbor was having this weird numbness, or more like lack of sensation when she touched her skin, and she ended up being diagnosed with Guillain-Barre Syndrome. She'll be just fine, but these nerve things aren't something you can just take a pill and fix. They just tkae time.

Go Bunnell Bulldogs!! (I love H.S. marching band competitions. It's just one halftime show after another - and you don't have to sit through a bunch of football to get to the good stuff.)
