I am making dinner for my friend Ellen tonight. She is in her second round of chemotherapy. I am thinking of making Chicken Mirabella with Bucatini.
That is very nice. And her appetite is still okay?
S-i-l couldn't eat when we went to visit. Her radiation is over but since it was all in and around her mouth, eating ended a while ago. They had put a feeding tube in early so they anticipated that. I hope her blood work allows her to get her last treatment tomorrow.
Happy thoughts to your friend.

She has a huge network of friend that has been making her meals since August. In terms of appetite, she has good days and bad days. The important thing though is that the community is taking care of her family so she doesn't have to worry about picking up her kids from school or making meals. She can just concentrate on getting better.

We do the same thing for my friend Carmen. Some days she
can't even walk to the mailbox to get her mail.
